The 617 Pro is a panoramic medium format camera for 120 film, which takes 4 oversized (60 mm x 170 mm) photos per roll. Unlike the F617 the 617 Pro is a much more robust design with a helical focuser. The 617 Pro also comes with a comfortable grip that can accommodate a shutter release cable which is necessary for long exposures. It has a new winding mechanism similar to a 35mm camera’s film advancer. The 617 Pro also has an in-built viewfinder, however, only for 150mm lenses. On the top of the camera, there are 3 coldshoes to make sure that levelers, accessory viewfinders, and phones can be mounted.
